Hayat – that means life. A term that we probably all define differently. One important aspect of Hayat is its impermanence. Life is constantly changing and evolving, and nothing stays the same forever. This can be both a source of anxiety and a reason for hope. There is a lot of life for me in Morocco. Besides a little boy trading with a seller in a market, a shoemaker practicing his craft with passion and a smile in some kind of workshop, or men drinking tea together. It is a land of contrasts in every way and a place where tradition and modernity often coexist.
